Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer, born 4 August 1981, is an American actress. Her most well-known work is the roles she played in the movie Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful The Great and Powerful, This Is Where I Leave You. She currently stars as Amantha Holden in her role on the Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actor and director of films who is also a TV producer. Her popularity was boosted by her role in the drama series Rectify and the sci-fi series Timeless. Her debut as an actor was All My Children, a soap opera that was filmed in Gulf Breeze Florida. In recognition of her performance she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as the most outstanding female newcomer. In the following years, she mostly played guest roles in several TV shows. She earned appreciation for her role of the character Dr. Erin Jameson in the TV show Hawthorne. Due to her stunning appearance and acting talent her character slowly garnered a massive audience. Her film debut came when she was around 20 years old, playing a role in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as well as Chasing Mavericks are two other films in which she appeared. For her role as a character in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. On the television show Timeless in which she portrayed her role as Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer has been nominated for the Teen Choice Award after her performance in the series was highly praised by the reviewers.
