Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's athletic talent was evident right from the day she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her initial tryout, she placed 2nd in the 200-meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to an agreement to Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. The first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics, at Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world for running 200m. The following year, she won her title by beating Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix was a regular competitor in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She was consistently in the top three of all events.
